Spring-Fall Building Schedule

​Our buildings are open on the weekend to the public:
April through October - open on Sundays from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
May through September - open Saturday and Sundays from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The Farmstead is a volunteer organization, and is dependent on volunteers to keep the buildings open. Consider becoming a volunteer and spend some time in the quiet atmosphere of the 1860's on the prairie.​​

Sept. 21-22      11:00-4:00           1860's Lifestyles Exposition. Learn all about life on a farmstead during the late 1800's 
                                                        early 1900's. Lots of displays and activities. Costume parade for kids and Apple Pie 
                                                        baking contest for all.
Sept.-Oct.           9:30-1:00           Fifth Grade Field Trips (Wed., Thurs., Fri.)
November 9     11:00-1:00         Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Dec. 7                 1:00-3:00           Christmas at the Farmstead. Join us in celebrating an old fashion Christmas. Caroling, 
                                                        trimming the trees, cookies and hot chocolate as well as photos with Santa.
